What ages do you perform for?

I perform magic for all ages, however my children’s birthday shows are aimed mainly at children aged 4-8 years. This doesn’t mean that other ages won’t be able to get involved though - I just find these shows work better when the bulk of the audience sat at the front is between those ages. I do get booked by many nurseries, Surestart Centres and pre-school groups for younger children - this works great as the nursery leaders all get involved in the fun too. My show is also family-friendly making it ideal for christenings, weddings, holiday parks and other family occasions and venues. I love to get the adults involved in the fun - and so do the kids!

Do you have DBS/CRB Clearance?

Due to the fact that adult supervision MUST be provided at all performances (including school shows) and in accordance with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly Criminal Records Bureau) I am not required to have one. Please CLICK HERE to see the facts on DBS.

Do you perform Charity shows?

Absolutely! Magic is a great way to bring attention to your charity and I perform for quite a number of charities each year. However, if its a free performance you’re looking for I only perform these midweek (Mon-Thurs) and I select the charities I’d like to support in February each year. If you would like to be considered for a free performance please email details of your charity to me (including Registration number) by clicking here. I regret I cannot discuss free performances unless you have submitted information and received an acceptance letter to confirm you have been selected. Expenses will always be requested, including travel, meals and overnight accommodation for myself, assistants and crew members if required.

Do you dress up as a clown?

I have friends who do the whole clown thing, but its not for me. As you can see from the photos dotted about my site, I wear bright clothes that make me stand out at any event, but ensure the children feel comfortable as well. No make-up, no red nose, no big glasses, just me!

How much space will you need?

My regular family show is quite big, meaning its not really suitable for front rooms and house parties. I use many larger, eye-catching props, as well as carrying a sound system to ensure you can hear me at the back if need be. Its hard to give an exact performing space but in a church hall or function room there’ll be plenty of space! If you’re having your party at home I offer a shorter show that uses less space. Click here for details.

Is it a good idea to hand out balloons and party horns before the show?

NO! I want you to get the very best out of the entertainment you’ve booked. When I first started in magic, I soon learned that party horns and balloons can create havoc! By all means, attach the balloons to the walls but I would encourage you not to leave them loose for your own enjoyment!

Do you perform larger shows?

Of course. I can perform anything from a 15 minute variety act to a full 2 hour theatre show complete with dancers and larger illusions. Please contact us for more details and pricing.

Can I reserve a date and give you the details closer to the time?

I can reserve any date, without an official booking being made, for a maximum of 24 hours. After that the date will be made available to other customers. To provisionally reserve a date you’ll need to leave me your name, telephone number, and approximate party times. If someone else wishes to book that date before you’ve got back in touch I’ll call you to confirm the booking before offering the date to somebody else.

I asked you to keep a date free for me several weeks ago. Is the date still available?

As above, if you’ve been back in touch within 24 hours of your initial enquiry and I’ve sent out a confirmation pack then yes, the booking is made. Unfortunately I don’t accept enquiries as firm bookings. A booking will ALWAYS result in taking your full details, venue and party time too, then you will have received a confirmation by post or email. Only if this has been done is the booking confirmed. If you’re unsure please contact us to check!
